The website www.sahalah.sa (“Sahalah,” “Sahalah Company,” or “Sahalah Company’s online store,” as mentioned in all policies, Terms and Conditions, and FAQs) includes the website, mobile site, and smartphone applications (iOS/Android)


1) Agreement Terms

By accessing and using the website and application, you acknowledge and agree—without modification or limitation—to the terms of this agreement. You warrant that you have the legal capacity and right to enter into this agreement and use the website and application in accordance with its terms


2) Amendments to Terms

Sahalah makes every effort to provide accurate information; however, occasional errors may occur. Sahalah and its partners are not liable for any errors in the information on the website/application. We may update the website, modify the Terms and Conditions, the Customer Service Policy, or any other information at any time without prior notice.

Modifications become effective from the date of their posting on the website and do not apply retroactively to previous bookings. Your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any modifications.


3) Website Availability

Sahala strives to ensure the continuous availability of the website and its associated services, but this does not constitute a guarantee against service interruptions or malfunctions


4) Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The website and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any express or implied warranties of accuracy, freedom from viruses, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, Sahala and/or its licensors and/or suppliers shall not be liable, directly, indirectly, consequentially, specially, or punitively, for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, or revenue.


5) Your Use of the Site

 : By using the Sahalah website, you agree to the following (but are not limited to)

  • Use the site to check service availability and make lawful reservations for your personal, non-commercial use

  • Recognize that you are at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into obligations

  • Inform all persons on whose behalf you make reservations of the applicable terms and conditions

  • Refrain from any conduct that damages or unduly burdens the site or its infrastructure

  • Pay all applicable fees, taxes, and charges on time

  • Not upload or post any illegal, offensive, infringing, or malicious material

  • Not attempt unauthorized access, impersonation, or infringement of intellectual property rights

  • Not use any automated means to copy or monitor the site’s content without express written permission

  • Not create deep links or embed parts of the site into other websites without Sahalah prior written consent

In the event of any violation of the above, Sahala reserves the right to take appropriate action, including: issuing warnings, removing content, suspending/canceling access, canceling reservations, reporting to the relevant authorities, and taking legal action


6) Mobile App Terms of Use

By using Sahala apps, you agree to all the terms mentioned herein, in addition to other relevant terms of service. Sahala is not obligated to provide continuous updates or improvements to the apps or to provide specific content. We may access some of your device data in accordance with our Privacy Policy


7) Payment and Credit/Debit Cards

  • We accept payment via most credit and debit cards activated for online purchases

  • Some cards issued by certain countries may be blocked. Please contact the issuing card to activate online use if necessary

  • Debits will be processed upon completion of the booking, and booking details will be sent to your registered email address or mobile number

  • Sahala is not liable for any loss or damage related to card data resulting from your use of the card on the website/app

  • Payment data is encrypted and processed through licensed payment providers in accordance with the standards adopted in the Kingdom

8) Fraud Management

If evidence of fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity appears on a booking, Sahala reserves the right to cancel bookings associated with the name, email address, or account, verify the card, and take all necessary legal and civil actions, including freezing the account


9) Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs how we collect and use your personal information. By using the website/application, you agree to this Privacy Policy. We comply with the provisions of the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and related regulations


10) Car Booking Terms and Conditions

The rental agreement included with each car is an integral part of these terms and conditions

Article 1: Rental Value and Deposit

  • The rental value is calculated based on the daily rate for the booked category

  • A deposit of SAR 500 (or as determined by the company according to the category) is payable upon delivery

  • Arrears are settled at the end of the rental period, and any difference is refunded to the renter

  • VAT and other applicable taxes/fees are added to rental invoices

Article 2: Contract Term and Amendment/Extension

  • Minimum rental period: 24 hours

  • Any amendment to the rental term or return conditions requires the renter to be present with the vehicle at the branch to make the necessary changes

  • Upon request for an extension: The initial contract is closed, and any outstanding payments are settled. A new contract is then opened for the requested period with a new deposit. Sahala reserves the right to accept or reject the extension request

  • Sahalah has the right to terminate the contract and reclaim the vehicle at any time without providing reasons, including through the appropriate authorities

Article 3: Driving License

  • A valid driving license within the Kingdom (or a valid international driving license for visitors) is required, and the minimum age (18+) must be met in accordance with traffic regulations

  • Driving by an unauthorized person or without a valid license makes the renter fully liable for all damages and may void the insurance coverage

Article 4: Fuel and Oil

  • The renter must return the vehicle with the same fuel level recorded upon receipt; otherwise, a refueling service fee plus the cost of the fuel will be charged

  • The fuel filled must match the manufacturer’s recommended fuel type

  • If an oil/lubrication change is required, the renter must contact Sahala to arrange for it. No refunds will be issued for maintenance performed by the renter without prior authorization

Article 5: Maintenance

  • Vehicles must be returned in good condition. The renter is responsible for the cost of damages resulting from negligence (such as ignoring oil/air levels or improper operation)

 : The following activities are prohibited

(1) Any activities that violate regulations.

(2) Towing/pushing other vehicles.

(3) Transporting passengers/goods for hire.

(4) Racing, drifting, or motorsports.

(5) Leaving the Kingdom without international authorization from Sahala.

(6) Driving under the influence of alcohol/narcotics/medications that impair driving. (7) Allowing an unauthorized person to drive.

(8) Driving without a valid license.

(9) Making modifications/additions to the vehicle.

(10) Overloading.

The renter is obligated to drive on paved roads and within the permitted zone

Article Seven: Miscellaneous Obligations

  • Extra hours allowed after the return time: 4 hours (2 hours free + 2 hours calculated according to the formula mentioned in the rental agreement). Any additional hours will be considered a full day

  • The odometer is the official record. Tampering with it will incur a fine of 500 riyals/day in addition to any other agreed-upon charges

  • The renter is responsible for all traffic violations during the contract period

  • The renter is responsible for the full fare during periods of inactivity due to a violation/accident/misuse

Article Eight: Loss or Damage to Funds

Sahalah is not responsible for any loss/theft/damage to funds inside the vehicle during/after the contract period

Article Nine: Insurance

  • Insurance coverage includes: general risks and property damage as per a valid policy; deductible per incident: SAR 1,500 (unless otherwise specified in the policy)

  • Personal driver coverage: up to SAR 50,000 (excludes medical expenses unless otherwise specified in the policy)

  • Common exclusions: vehicle towing, uncontrollable disasters (except with an official report), driving under the influence of alcohol/narcotics, contract expiration without renewal, unauthorized/underage driving, leaving the key inside the vehicle, use outside the permitted scope, damage to tires/rims/windows, etc., as specified in the policy

  • Ages 18–21 or 65+: A higher deductible may apply depending on the vehicle category (specified in the lease agreement)

  • The lessee is obligated to return the vehicle in usable condition and is responsible for any expenses not covered by the policy

Article Ten: Accidents

  • In the event of an accident, fire, or theft: The police and relevant authorities must be notified immediately, an official report obtained, and Sahala informed within 24 hours

  • If the license was invalid at the time of the accident, the insurance claim may be rejected unless it is addressed within the legally stipulated timeframe by the relevant authority

Article Eleven: Company Liability

Sahalah is not liable for any losses or delays incurred by the lessee due to malfunctions beyond the company’s control during the rental period

Article Twelve: Vehicle Return

  • The vehicle must be returned in person by the lessee during official working hours (as announced by the branch), after all dues have been paid and a stamped return receipt has been obtained

  • Placing the vehicle at the company’s premises without following the aforementioned procedures does not constitute return

Article Thirteen: Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, the case will be referred to the competent judicial authorities in Jeddah for adjudication. Their decision will be final and binding on both parties

Article Fourteen: Additional Conditions

  • The company shall replace consumable parts unless misuse is proven

  • Driving the vehicle in high water that could damage the engine/parts is prohibited

  • Any internal/exterior damage or loss of keys/remotes/accessories shall be charged to the renter according to the dealer’s prices and published standards

  • Delivery in another city: Transfer/refund fees shall apply according to Sahalah regulations

  • In the event of a service suspension or cancellation due to non-payment, the renter shall bear all costs necessary to address the situation

  • The contract may not be amended after its signing except with the written consent of both parties


11) Indemnification and Limitation of Liability

As a user of the website/application, you agree to indemnify Sahalah for any claims/losses/costs (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of this agreement

In all cases, Sahalah liability to you for any claims related to the use of the services/website shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in question or SAR 200—whichever is less—to the extent permitted by law


12) No Waiver

Sahalah failure to exercise any right stipulated herein shall not constitute a waiver of that right unless expressly stated in writing


13) Links to Other Websites

This website may contain links to third-party websites. Sahalah does not operate or control these websites and assumes full responsibility for your use of them

15) Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the courts of Jeddah shall have jurisdiction over any disputes.

The Electronic Commerce Law also applies to online transactions and consumer rights.


16) Notices

Sahalah may send notices via email, in-account messages, or through the website/application. Customer notices will be sent to the contact information registered with them


17) Value Added Tax (VAT)

This is a tax levied on all goods and services bought and sold by businesses. This indirect tax will be applied, effective January 1, 2018, to car rental services purchased through the platform
